Order Processing Time
The total processing time, between when you place your order and when it is shipped to you, depends on several factors
The time it takes to verify your prescription
The time to obtain your lenses if they are not in stock
The time to obtain your insurance company's approval, if you are making your purchase with your NVA benefits
The time to ship your order (see below)
Contact lenses may be sold only with a valid prescription. If your doctor’s office informs us that your prescription is not finalized or that it is expired, you may be given the option of cancelling your order or placing it on hold until you can obtain a new prescription.
The fastest way to have your order processed without delay is for you to send us your prescription yourself. You may email a scanned copy or a photograph of your prescription or fax the prescription to 1-866-589-6969 (toll-free), including your order number. We can also contact your ECP (Eye Care Practitioner) to verify your prescription and will do this if you are unable to send us your prescription or if it does not match the order you placed.
Once we reach the office that has your prescription on file, we will ask them to review your records and confirm whether your order matches your prescription. This process usually takes one to two business days. If your doctor’s office says you are not prescribed the lenses you have asked for on your order form and provides us with a different prescription, your order will be filled with that prescription.
Orders for standard parameter contact lenses are filled within one to two business days. Non-standard lenses usually ship within four to five business days. For custom made (MTO or XR) soft lenses or gas permeable lenses, the processing time will be longer to allow for the manufacturing of your lenses. Manufacturing times vary but normally take five to fifteen business days.
